What is The Archive Work Club?

The Archive Work Club is a boutique, members-only work club at 210 Mill Street in the heart of New Braunfels. We’re not a traditional coworking space — think of us as something closer to a neighborhood club for focused work: part coffee-shop energy, part library quiet, part design-forward creative environment. The building itself is a restored 1845 fachwerk structure, and the space reflects that history — curated, considered, and worth showing up to.

What makes The Archive different from a regular coworking space?

Most coworking spaces optimize for density. We optimize for quality. Membership is limited, the environment is carefully curated, and every detail — from the art on the walls to the coffee program — is chosen with intention. This is a place people actually want to be.

Where are you located?

210 Mill Street, New Braunfels, TX 78130 — in the historic downtown core, within walking distance of the Comal River, the Brauntex Theatre, and the Courthouse Square.

Is parking available?

On-site parking is available to members for a monthly fee. Rates are available upon inquiry. Street parking is also available in the surrounding blocks.

Who is The Archive for?

Remote professionals, freelancers, entrepreneurs, architects, designers, attorneys, consultants, creatives — anyone who does their best work in a well-designed environment and values a community of like-minded people. If you’ve been working from home, coffee shops, or a lease you don’t love, this was built for you.

How do I become a member?

Apply through our website or reach out directly at info@thearchive.work. We’ll follow up to schedule a tour and walk you through the membership options.

What does membership cost?

Membership is $299/month (annual) or $349/month (monthly). Both options include full access to everything The Archive has to offer.

What’s included in a membership?

Full-access membership includes unlimited use of the open workspace, high-speed WiFi, Nespresso coffee and tea service, access to The Archive’s curated library and common areas, 4 hours of conference room use per month, and member-only events. It also includes keycard access so you’re never dependent on staff hours.

What’s the conference room situation?

The conference room is available to all members and can be booked by the hour through the Coworks app. Your membership includes 4 hours per month at no additional charge. Additional hours beyond that are available at an hourly rate — contact us for current pricing.

Can I try before I commit?

Yes. We offer a limited number of half-day and full-day passes for those who want to experience the space before joining. Day passes are subject to availability and are not guaranteed on any given day. Reach out to check availability.

What’s the cancellation policy?

Monthly memberships may be cancelled with 30 days written notice. Annual memberships are non-refundable but may be paused in certain circumstances — contact us to discuss.

What are the hours?

The Archive is open Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM. Staff is part-time, so you may not always have someone on-site — but your keycard access works regardless of whether staff is present.

How do I access the space?

After joining, you’ll receive an email invitation to the Salto KS app. Your digital key lives in the app and gives you access to the building during operating hours. No physical keycard required.

Can I bring guests?

Guests are welcome for conference room meetings. They must check in with the community manager upon arrival and are permitted in the building for the duration of the meeting only. Guests may not use the open workspace or other amenities unless they purchase a day pass. Day passes are limited — reach out in advance to confirm availability.

What’s the WiFi situation?

The Archive runs enterprise-grade networking (UniFi) with a dedicated, high-speed connection. Network credentials are provided at onboarding and are for member use only. Please do not share login information.

Is there coffee or food?

We have a Nespresso Professional station with espresso, lungo, and black coffee options, plus a selection of teas. The Archive is not a café — we don’t have a full food menu — but you’re welcome to bring your own and use the common areas. Downtown New Braunfels has great options within walking distance for lunch.

What’s the noise policy?

The Archive is a working environment first. We ask that members be mindful of those around them — keep voices low in the open workspace, take longer calls in the phone booth or conference room, and use headphones for audio. The vibe is library-adjacent, not coffee shop loud.

Can I take calls?

Short calls are fine in the open workspace — just keep your voice low and be mindful of those around you. For longer calls, please step outside to one of the covered porches or use a phone booth.

What’s the guest and access credential policy?

Keycards and login credentials are for the member’s use only and may not be shared, transferred, or loaned. Violation may result in membership termination. We take access security seriously to maintain a safe, trusted environment for everyone.

What’s the damage policy?

Members are responsible for their own conduct and the conduct of their guests. Intentional or negligent damage to the space, furnishings, or equipment may result in repair charges and membership review. We’re a small, independent operation — please treat it like it’s yours.

Is The Archive liable for my personal property?

Members use the space at their own risk. The Archive Work Club is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property. We recommend not leaving valuables unattended.

How is my personal data handled?

Member data collected through our application and Coworks platform is used solely to manage your membership and communicate with you about The Archive. We do not sell or share your information with third parties. Payment information is processed securely through Stripe and never stored on our systems.
